Tips for identifying TV DX from Mexico and Latin America |

Important reminders about these LOCAL logos: 1) Only a handful of low-band TV stations in Mexico use local logos, and some of those stations have very low power. Most stations listed here have known ERPs of at least 1kW or have been received by a DXer. 2) A few of these logos could be outdated. Please let me know if you see something different. 3) A few logos are not exactly as they appear on TV. Logos are property of network/station owners. |

XHAGU-2 Aguascalientes, Aguascalients Galavision/Local TIP: XHAGU-2 runs local and syndicated programs part of the day. During that time, XHAGU-2 uses the "2" logo shown upper right. |

XHKG-2- Tepic, Nayarit Independent TIP: In spite of IDing Tepic channels 4 and 5 numerous times, I have never IDed XHKG-2. As far as I know, no DXer has IDed XHKG in years. |

XEFB-2- Monterrey, Nuevo Leon Televisa Independent Teleactiva and MTY TV TIP: Used to have a relayer on channel 2 in Saltillo, Coahuila. Cantu says that is now a relayer of XHCNL-34. |

XHQ-2 Guamuchil, Sinaloa Full-time relayer of XHQ-3 Culiacan, Sinaloa Independent - Affiliated with Televisa Grupo Pacifico - TV de Culiacan TIP: As of February 2012, channel number logos are being used again - at least part of the time. Otherwise, uses the same Grupo Pacifico logo as the two XHI-2 stations. Therefore, check the program schedules and live video streams on the Pacifico site. The Guamuchil station runs a local, supered text ID upper right at 30 minute intervals. |

XHI-2 Los Mochis, Sinaloa Independent - Affiliated with Televisa Grupo Pacifico - TV del Yaqui TIP: As of February 2012, channel number logos are being used again - at least part of the time. In addition, I caught a superimposed text ID upper right on XHI-2 Los Mochis. XHI-2 Los Mochis is not a full-time relayer of XHI-2 Cd Obregon, Sonora, in spite of what other sources say. Therefore, check the program schedules and live video streams on the Pacifico site. |

XHFM-2+ Veracruz, Veracruz // XHAJ-5 Las Lajas Televisa Independent tele ver (TeleVer ia an acronym for Televisa Veracruz.) TIP: Blue box logo is displayed upper right much of the time. Logo bugs on XHFM-2 often have "PUERTO" below "tele ver," as the city of Veracruz is on the Gulf of Mexico.
