MEXICO TV DX ID TIPS / LOGOS
LOCAL (NON-NETWORK) LOGOS

Important reminders about these LOCAL logos:
1) Only a handful of low-band TV stations in Mexico use local logos, and some of those stations have very low power. Most stations listed here have known ERPs of at least 1kW or have been received by a DXer.
2) A few of these logos could be outdated. Please let me know if you see something different.
3) A few logos are not exactly as they appear on TV.

Thanks to Jeff Kruszka, Christopher Dunne, Jeff Kadet, and Frank Merrill for logos and information.

Logos are property of network/station owners.

Channel 3
XHBC-3
Mexicali, Baja California Norte

Televisa Independent
Televisa Mexicali

TIPs: XHBC no longer uses the XHBC-3/Tu Canal logos. The new logo is the one in the photo shown here. Logo is sometimes upper left, sometimes upper right, sometimes lower right.

XHBC-3 runs some programs from the Televisa networks on a delayed basis (not // network).

XHTJB-3
Tijuana, Baja California Norte

Education
Once TV

TIP: Once places logo upper right and alternates between the two logos during HD broadcasts. The full name ID looks like a text ID and is difficult to read when it is superimposed upper right.

New logo first noted by Christopher S. Dunne (6/21/2011) and Mike in south Louisiana.

Used to be a full-time relayer of XEFB-2. It now might be a relayer of XHNCL-34.
